SUBLIMATION
We have created an awesome theme that will help designers, developers and companies create websites for their startups quickly and easily.
Sublimation is a process that allows for all over prints in full-colour. Designs printed on a sheet of white polyester and then cut&sewn. This process is a unique one in that it uses heat to transfer dye into the fabric leaving no fabric or materials, resulting in designs that are durable, high-quality, and capable of producing intricate, full-color artwork. This project involves crafting designs specifically optimized for sublimation to ensure they achieve the best possible results on various substrates, including polyester fabrics, mugs, phone cases, and more.
The outcome of this project is a custom-designed, visually striking product, whether it’s apparel, accessories, or promotional items. Sublimation design is especially well-suited for intricate patterns, all-over prints, and multi-colored graphics, making it a popular choice for fashion, sportswear, and personalized merchandise.
-
Artwork Creation: Using graphic design software, the designer creates vector-based or high-resolution raster designs that can be transferred seamlessly during the sublimation process. The design is meticulously crafted to ensure clarity, vibrant colors, and crisp lines. Colors are selected with precision, considering how they will appear once transferred onto the fabric or material.
-
Sublimation Process Considerations: Sublimation works best on light-colored, polyester-based fabrics or materials with a special coating. The design is tailored to these materials, ensuring that it will bond with the fabric or surface during the heat transfer process. This design is also scaled and adjusted for optimal placement on the product.
-
Digital Mockups: To give the client a clear vision of how the design will look on the product, digital mockups are created. These mockups help visualize the placement, scale, and final appearance of the design on the garment or item before the actual printing takes place.
-
Quality Control: Once the design is printed using the sublimation process, it undergoes a quality check to ensure color accuracy, proper placement, and overall visual appeal. The sublimation process produces a smooth, permanent finish that won’t fade or peel, making it an ideal choice for high-quality, long-lasting products.
-
Final Product: The finished product features a vibrant, full-color design that is seamlessly integrated into the fabric or material. Sublimation prints are known for their durability, with designs becoming part of the fabric rather than sitting on top, ensuring they withstand washing, wear, and time without losing quality.
